What You Need

Bring the 1/2 cup water to a a simmer.

Place the tea strainer over your glass or mug and add a spoonful of the loose leaf black tea to the strainer.

Pour the hot water over the strainer and let it steep for 4-5 minutes. Then remove the strainer from the glass.

Lightly heat up the half cup of milk. Froth it if desired.

Add the vanilla extract, and maple syrup to the brewed tea. Pour the warmed/frothed milk over it and stir gently.
